George Dancin served as an assistant cook with Able Company in 1943. He was transferred to Pendleton's Training Camp Post A on November 18, 1943.
Dancin was assigned to the Fifth Division, which formed at Camp Pendleton in 1944. He became an assistant cook with the 26th Marine Regiment. Dancin was killed in action during the battle of Iwo Jima.
