Staff Sergeant Michael Graziadei was originally a member of Dog Company, 24th Marines. He was transferred to Able on December 20, 1943, and served as one of the company mess sergeants.
Graziadei fought on Namur with his new company, and was promoted to Technical Sergeant in the spring of 1944. He went on to serve on Saipan, where he was wounded in action on June 25, 1944. Graziadei was evacuated to Naval Hospital #10 the following month, and did not return to combat duty.
Michael Graziadei died in Oneonta, New York, in 1986.
