Eugene Andree joined Baker Company from the Fourth Signal Company of February 22, 1944. He was rated a rifleman and served in a front-line platoon.

Andree fought on Saipan (evacuated for illness July 1 - July 4), and on Tinian. He was promoted to Private First Class following the Marianas campaign.

Eugene Andree landed on Iwo Jima, but was killed shortly after landing on February 19, 1945. He was buried in Plot 1, Row 4, Grave 198 of the 4th Marine Division Cemetery.
