With Baker Company:
Julian Cusey was transferred to Baker from the Fourth Signal Company on February 21, 1944. While appearing on the muster rolls, he seems not to have taken part in the Marianas campaign, perhaps left behind as an administrator or due to illness.
In the fall of 1944, Cusey was transferred to Battalion Headquarters.
With HQ Company:
Cusey became an observer with the Battalion's Intelligence Platoon. He was wounded in action on February 22, 1945, and was evacuated.
After the war, Cusey returned to Illinois. An obituary may be read here.
