Thomas Puckett was one of the original members of Dog Company. He carried the MOS of 675 - a jeep driver - and probably served with the headquarters of the Second Machine Gun Platoon.

After the battle of Namur, Puckett was transferred to Baker Company.

With Baker Company:

Puckett served as a jeep driver for the headquarters of Baker Company. He was wounded and evacuated from Saipan shortly after the landing on June 15, 1944, and did not return to the battalion.
