Paul Brahm was one of the original members of Charlie Company. He served as a BAR gunner in one of the rifle platoons during the battle of Namur, and was made a fire team leader in the spring of 1944.

PFC Brahm was wounded during the battle of Saipan on June 18, 1944. He was evacuated, and sent to US Fleet Hospital #108 the following month.

Brahm returned to the company as a corporal in the fall of 1944. He did not participate in the battle of Iwo Jima for reasons unknown, but stayed with the company until the end of the war.

Paul Brahm died in California in 1980.
