Paul Burkhart was one of the original members of Charlie Company, 24th Marines.
He was transferred to the staff of Camp Pendleton on December 4, 1943. The details of his subsequent service are unknown.
Burkhart was discharged as a corporal at the end of his service. He died in Florida in 1989, and is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Tallahassee.
