Wilson Cook fought in all four campaigns with Charlie Company, and held a different rank for each. As a private first class he led a fire team on Namur; he earned a second stripe in the spring of 1944 and fought as a corporal on Saipan; he led a squad as a sergeant on Tinian and finally became a platoon sergeant. He was slightly wounded on Iwo Jima on February 22, but was not evacuated.

Wilson Cook died in 1990.
