PFC Pennock Bowen was one of the original members of Headquarters Company. He was promoted to Corporal on December 13, 1943, and served as a senior radio operator with the Communications platoon.
Bowen participated in the battles of Namur, Saipan, and Tinian. He left the battalion in the fall of 1944; his further service is unknown.
Pennock Bowen died in Cocoa Beach, Florida in 2003.
